ARE THE INSTRUCTORS AT FINALLY FIT STUDIO CERTIFIED?

It is mandatory that all of our instructors are certified or in the process of obtaining their certification. Finally Fit Studio instructors are required to put in a minimum of 80 hours annually in our Continuing Education Program such as attending additional training courses, seminars, and conferences in order to advance their certification and experience levels.

WHAT DO YOU MEAN WHEN YOU SAY CORE?

The easiest way to think of your core is your body minus your arms and legs.

CAN I SIGN UP FOR A CLASS ONLINE?

Yes.  Every client can create their own personal online account by Clicking Here.
Your online account will allow you to the same things you could do if you were in the studio including signing up for a class as well as making secure payments.

CAN I SEE THE CLASS SCHEDULE ONLINE?

Absolutely! By creating your online account you will be able to see the entire class schedule in real time, which is important because the schedule may change. You may also see the classes without creating a personal profile by Clicking Here.

CAN I TAKE CLASSES OR HAVE PRIVATE SESSIONS IF I HAVE A PRE-EXISTING INJURY OR BACK PROBLEMS?

The answer is yes.  We strongly recommend you get your doctor's approval first, and then be sure to communicate any pre-existing conditions to your instructor.  Any qualified instructor should be able to make modifications to suit your condition.  Furthermore, all of our exercises are designed to prevent injuries, which also mean they can help to rehabilitate them as well.

WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?

We have a 12-hour cancellation policy. You will be charged for a class if you do not cancel at least 12 hours in advance. This applies to both private sessions and classes. Our definition of cancelation is speaking with or leaving a message on your instructor’s cell phone, or emailing them.  It is acceptable to call the studio as long as long as you speak with someone. All of our instructor’s willingly provide you their cell phone number. We feel that it is not fair or courteous to our other customers who want to attend the same class if you simply don’t show-up.  Learn more about our policies by clicking here.

HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE IN A CLASS?

The maximum amount of people is 6.  We feel this is the appropriate number for one instructor to give each client the proper amount of attention to ensure that they are doing the exercises correctly and achieve the maximum benefit of each exercise.

WHY ARE THERE SO FEW REPITITIONS IN PILATES?

The Pilates method has always emphasized quality over quantity, and you will find that, unlike many systems of exercise, Pilates exercises do not include a lot of repetitions for each move. Instead, doing each exercise fully, with precision, yields significant results in a shorter time than one would ever imagine.

WHAT DO I WEAR?

Anything that is comfortable for you to workout in.  We do suggest that you wear fitted clothing so we can watch your form to ensure you are doing the exercises correctly. We do require that you either wear ToeSox®, which are available for purchase at the studio or be barefoot.  You will see this in the studio policies.

CAN I SUGGEST A NEW CLASS OR IDEA?

We are always looking to add classes.  Remember though there needs to be enough people to add a new class.  You can create your own class as simply as having enough of your own friends that will commit to it on a regular basis. We will always try to accommodate your request if we can.

CAN I STILL PARTICIPATE IN ALL THE EXERCISES IF I HAVE OSTEOPOROSIS?

The answer is simply yes.  Whether you are looking to prevent it or you already have osteoporosis.  The answer is still yes.  All of our training methods will help to increase bone density, whether it is Pilates, TRX® or adding light dumbbells to your workout.

Recent research has demonstrated that one of the best ways to combat osteoporosis is prevention. This can be achieved through a variety of our Pilates and TRX® exercises. HOW TO CREATE A MIND BODY LOGINAND PROFILE

  • Click here to go to our Mindbody schedule.
  • In the upper right corner you will see the login section.  Click sign up button below the login boxes.
  • You will be prompted to enter your name and contact information as well as a login and a password. 
  • Your newly completed login and password will allow you to make reservations for desired classes as well as cancelations and to purchase packages.

HOW TO REDEEM YOUR DAILY DEALS VOUCHERS SUCH AS LIVING SOCIAL, AMAZON LOCAL, RUE LA LA OR BLOOMSPOT

  • See directions on completing online profile w/ a login and password
  • Upon logging into the scheduling section of the website you will view the class schedule and locate the 30 min introductory schedule that suits your schedule.
  • Click the reservation button
  • You will be prompted to make a purchase. Select the living social option and click to purchase, this has a zero dollar value. This will enable you to reserve your spot in the intro class.
  • Please bring your voucher with you to class along with the new client paper work that is available for download on our website or plan to arrive about 10 minutes prior to your scheduled class to fill out the paperwork in the studio.
